Once the NFL lockout ends (which should be this coming week) the Buffalo Bills intend on re-signing cornerback Drayton Florence according to Buffalo Sports Daily. Both Florence and the Bills want to make sure a deal gets done so he can remain in Buffalo.
“He’s a strong, physical corner that is an asset not just in the passing game but against the run,” the source said according to Buffalo Sports Daily. “As you can tell by the guys (the Bills) drafted, being stronger and more physical on the defensive side of the ball is the organization’s top priority. Being that type of defense plays to his strengths.”
The 30 year old Florence had a very good 2010 season with 58 tackles and 3 interceptions.
