The Carolina Panthers have released cornerback Drayton Florence and quarterback Jimmy Clausen.
Per a league source, the Panthers have cut Florence.
Due to make a base salary of only $940,000 in 2013, the 10-year veteran becomes a free agent. He has played for the Chargers, Jaguars, Bills, and Lions.

I’m kind of surprised that Clausen lasted this long.
